International Volunteers Day

International Volunteers Day, marked on 5 December annually, is a global commemoration of volunteer efforts, and this year’s theme is ‘Volunteers Act First. Here. Everywhere.”

ARC celebrates its volunteers, and their remarkable efforts in helping protect and promote the rights and well being of children. Our volunteers include selfless individuals and groups who contribute their time and skills to improve our community for our children. Volunteers form the backbone of the ARC Team and being busy in their daily lives have never stopped our dedicated volunteers in responding to every call for help, as together we strive to make a difference in the lives of children across the Maldives.

Today we take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of ARC’s dedicated Executive Committee members past and present, for always working on a volunteer-basis, the many young people who have participated in ARC’s Internship Programmes over the years, and continue to do so, and the amazing volunteers who assist in our campaigns, projects and events. Our gratitude is also extended to the community for the great support and for helping raise funds and representing ARC at tournaments and public events dedicated for the protection of children. Our work is possible because of each and every one of you. Thank you!
