ARC Launches Website for Campaign Against Child Abuse and Partners with Dhiraagu for the Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race 2013

In the fight against child abuse, ARC today has launched the website for HOPE (Heal, Outreach, Prevent, Empower) Campaign against Child Abuse, containing content in both English and Dhivehi (www.arc.org.mv/hope). This website provides easy access to useful information on 4 key areas including how to help children Heal, the importance of Outreach, ways to Prevent abuse and how to Empower children against abuse.

ARC has also today announced its partnership for the 2013 Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race and highly commends efforts by Dhiraagu to help raise awareness by dedicating the event to the prevention of child abuse for a third consecutive year. ARC also notes with deep appreciation the continued efforts by Dhiraagu in promoting social responsibility.

ARC invites organizations, companies and individuals aged 18 and above, who are participating in this years road race, to Run to Make a Difference on behalf of ARC and help raise awareness and funds for the cause. Participants could get friends, family and colleagues to sponsor their run. 100 percent of the funds raised through this event will be used towards ARCs child protection programmes.
