ARC launches HEAL storybook in Singapore

Date: 15 April 2013

Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) is pleased to announce that The Colourful Companionship of Casey Cabbage was launched at 3 schools in Singapore today: German European School Singapore, Carpe Diem Kids Academy and Raffles Girls Primary School.

Raffles Girls Primary School, run under the Ministry of Education of Singapore and with direct affiliations with the Health Promotion Board of Singapore, invited ARC to share the messages of the HEAL Campaign with the children. The children were introduced to the message of Eat A Rainbow through Caseys friends, in a fun and interactive session at their assembly to kick start the Healthy Eating Week, which is being promoted at all public schools in Singapore. ARC also gifted 540 of these books to the Raffles Girls Primary School through a generous wellwisher of the school. Similar sessions were also conducted at German European School Singapore and Carpe Diem Kids Academy and the books were also shared with the children at these schools.

The second book of the HEAL storybook series is based on the message of Rethink Your Drink, and will be launched towards the end of the year.
